BROEN-LAB laboratory gas and vacuum valves are service valves for laboratory benches, wall panels and suspended service units, built for daily operation in laboratories where several media are distributed to the same work area. Techmatic Controls supplies the BROEN-LAB range in Singapore for research, education, pharmaceutical and industrial QC laboratories.

Configuration options

The range is built up from a few basic choices, allowing a valve to be matched to the media, the bench or panel layout and the number of outlets required:

• Media — technical gases 2.0, burning gases, or vacuum
• Mounting — bench mounted, wall mounted with a straight body, or suspended service units
• Arrangement — single valve, or twin valves set at 180° to serve two outlets from one position
• Handle — standard plastic handle, or POP-UP handle where unintended operation must be prevented
• Outlet — fixed nozzle

Media, mounting, arrangement and handle type are specified independently, so most combinations of the above are available.

Colour coding and identification

Handles and index rings follow the BROEN-LAB colour coding system, so the media at each outlet is identified at a glance. This reduces the risk of misconnection where gas, burning gas and vacuum services share the same bench or panel.
