Steam trap survey programme launched
One of Singapore's pioneer steam trap survey providers, using ultrasonic and thermal diagnostics with quantified steam-loss and payback reporting for clients.
Miyawaki steam trap distributorship
Appointment as Singapore distributor for Miyawaki steam traps and steam specialties — the foundation of Techmatic's steam system practice.
ISO 9001 accreditation
Quality management system certified to ISO 9001, covering supply, fabrication, and site service activities. Now maintained to the ISO 9001:2015 standard.
Move to 10 Kaki Bukit Road 1
Relocation to Techmatic's own premises at 10 Kaki Bukit Road 1, providing dedicated warehousing, workshop, and fabrication space.

Workplace safety and health management system certified under the WSH Council bizSAFE programme. In the same year, recognised as SME of the Year — an external endorsement of the company's growth and service standards.
Strainer design & fabrication
Launch of custom strainer design and fabrication, allowing Techmatic to supply non-standard sizes, materials, and screen configurations that catalogue products cannot cover.
Tekflow flow instrumentation added
Expansion into flow measurement — electromagnetic, vortex, ultrasonic, and variable-area meters — completing the steam and process measurement offering.
Move to 705 Sims Drive
Expansion into two units at 705 Sims Drive: a dedicated office unit plus a warehouse and workshop unit on the first floor, doubling the space available for stock, fabrication, and service work.
CERTUSS distributorship and boiler efficiency monitoring
Appointment as CERTUSS distributor, bringing rapid-start, high-efficiency steam generation to the Singapore market for pharmaceutical, F&B, and light industrial users. In the same year, launch of continuous boiler efficiency monitoring, using combustion, blowdown, and heat-recovery data to hold plant efficiency at design point.
Energy and decarbonisation advisory
Extension of the service portfolio into energy management and sustainability, aligned to Singapore's aim to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Techmatic now has an in-house SCEM-certified energy manager to propose energy management solutions and conduct Level 1 energy audits.
