A thermostat consists of a sensor and a capillary tube, filled with liquid, and an adjusting cylinder. With temperatures above 170°C, a cooling unit must be fitted between the valve and the thermostat.
The thermostat is self-acting and works on the principle of liquid expansion, it is sturdy in its design, and works with a large closing force.
